Jon and Lauren are a perfect match! Brian and I photographed their wedding in November. The two were wed at the Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse. It was a beautiful day with a perfect wedding and reception! Jon and Lauren know how to have a good time! There was lots of laughing, smiling, tears of joy and good times by all who attended. Not to mention Lauren was a stunning bride in her beautiful dress and Jon a perfect and handsome groom! It was amazing! Here’s a just a small taste of the day…

Can I just say I am absolutely loving my new addition to my camera bag, the canon 85mm F/1.2L II lens. It just arrived this past week and I couldn’t resist taking Ellah out for a mini shoot to test it out! I have to say this lens produces the best bokeh. The sharpness of the images this lens produces makes me realize I have an official crush on my prime lenses. My 24mm F/1.4L II is also a little piece of awesomeness. My zoom lenses are feeling envious. Here are a few shots of my favorite girl in the whole wide world, using my new 85mm f1.2…(I was thankful for the overcast day allowing us to shoot in open sun during the middle of the afternoon!).

I love photographing newborns! There is just something so sweet, peaceful, innocent and absolutely perfect about a brand new baby. And I love when newborns are born with a full head of hair, it makes them look like just like a little baby doll! Hailey was the most peaceful little bundle. She did not cry even one time!
